I love chia and quinoa. I have a wheat allergy so use almond and coconut flours a lot. I don't yet know much about post-op eating since I'm only a week out. Prior to surgery I ate low carb for years and those were staples. If you let me know what type of recipes you're looking for I'd be happy to share mine. I've never ground almonds because I've always read there's a fine line between flour and almond butter.

i LOVE pumpkin bread, carrot  cake or carrot bread, banana bread so i am looking for ways to bump up the protein and fiber for WHEN i do eat them, but i just dont want to just add a scoop of protein powder as that will change the taste of it...i have been using greek yogurt in place of alot of things to try and up the protein value of some things here at the house..i just dont want to just put a scoop of protein powder in food and receipes..plus i am very sensitive to asparteme, it gives me MAJOR migraines...so i can not do alot of the sugar free stuff as it all has the aspartame or sorbitol and that makes hang out in the toilet all day....

can i mix and match the almond flour with w/w wheat flour? or coconut flour? i just cant imagine making a cake or bread with out any type of wheat flour...but who knows....
how long will the nut flours and coconut flour last once it is ground and in the fridge...i have some coconut, i plan to make my own coconut milk then grind the left over into the flour...
i have been watching videos and i just cant imagine eating or drinking some chia GEL....that just seems weird to me....so this is all new to me and would love to have some set guidlines to follow, like DO NOT MIX THE DIFFERENT FLOURS or go for it..cant hurt...
i worked hard to get the white flour out and bring in the whole wheat, now i have to get rid of that? just seems strange to me...i want to make a coconut cake for muy hubby, but would like it to be alot healther than what is usually is..
thanks so much for any help and receipes you have
have a great day

chiavseeds can be soaked and cooled they become gelatonous. One teaspoon ingested is an effective energy boost almost like taking a pep pill.
