I finally gave up trying to drink cold or room temperature drinks a couple of months ago and I'm so happy I did.  They just don't go down well for me.  I drink hot herbal teas for my fluids.  Green tea, white tea, and an occasional black tea in the mornings.  I'm not a fan of green tea either but I don't mind it with the other herbs also in the bag.  I've had kidney stones in the past pre WLS and they did recommend avoiding tea as it can cause kidney stones . I take a potassium citrate every day (for hypokalemia) and I'm hoping that'll be enough keep stones at bay.  I think keeping my fluids up is more important.

I am a tea addict, but have only had decaf since surgery. I have always drank a ton of tea, and I have had two kidney stones. BUT, I never adjusted my tea consumption, and I've not had a stone in four years.

I drink English Breakfast decaf, Constant Comment decaf, and all sorts of herbal teas. I understand having a favorite...I did find decaf Twinings Irish Breakfast for you if you want to try it:
