Total WOW moment!
I'll tell you, I thought I was a freak because everyone asked me throughout all the pre-op time if I was scared or nervous and I never was. I knew this was what I wanted, I had lots of research, I had confidence in my surgeon, and like you said, I was ready.
I thought it would hit me the day of surgery and it really didn't even then. I had a bit of an elevated blood pressure right after I got called back to the pre-op area, but that would be the only way anyone could tell I was at all nervous! Haha! Honestly, DH and the rest of my family were more nervous than I was!
