6 days to go and I am STARVING. Need a little pep!

I am getting my Frankenstein tummy in 6 days, so I have five more days of the liquid diet.  I got a brief reprieve with solids because I got super sick and the liquids made it worse.  Now I am trying to pull off the last needed 6 or 7 pounds, so I went back on the liquids.  For some reason it's SO much harder now.  I am obsessed with food and the liquid crap tastes horrid.

There's a more detailed ***** on my blog.

I need some encouragement.  I have pulled off around 18 in 3 weeks, but I am having such trouble in the home stretch.  Anyone have mind blowing tips?  I am considering a self induced coma at this point. ;)
Pretty pretty please, don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f*ckin' perfect.

I don't have any advice (I proudly cheated on my pre-op diet though I was very strategic about WHAT i cheated with) but I can offer a pep talk (or my version)....

SIX DAYS!!!!  Do whatever you have to do to get food off of your mind.  Go for long walks....take a bubble bath...wash your hair....or my all time favorite trick...brush your teeth.  Something about brushing my teeth makes me not want to eat anything for a while.  Try flavored drinks/teas or even some of the protein shake recipes on some of the blogs in place of the ready-made protein...it will trick your mind and taste buds into thinking its food without the guilt.

And if all else fails...you have my permission for the coma.

Good Luck!

Dont give up girly... remember this is the last part of the the battle to the finish line! dont give up. and do a detox! that will help also. lemon with water! that helps burn fat too. DONT GIVE UP! remember that saying... "nothing taste better than skinny feels"... yeah i have  hard time with that too, but the guilt feeling after eating is worse than the satisfaction of eating it!....

My surgery is on Monday the 7th...last night was the only night I truly wanted to cheat!! What did I want..peanut M&M's the hubby brought into the house!! grrrrr....I resisted, but it took every ounce of energy to do it. I had shake instead, not m&m's, but it was chocolate!! lol
Just think only 6 more days...then you are going to fight to get even liquids in!!

My doctor's office had me on what they called a "Garden Diet". All vegetables. But two days before my surgery, I caved and had a "Last Supper" at a steakhouse, and ice cream.

I'm so not the example.

Find something to occupy your time. Something you enjoy doing...that doesn't involve food :D

The trouble is that I got so sick, I have no real energy to do anything that requires energy quite yet. I have been watching TV. lol Every time one of these idiots cooks something, I start salivating.

I can get through this. 5 more days!

You will get through this and probably be surprised how quickly these last few days went. Brushing your teeth frequently or sucking on sugar free mints might help.

Good luck!
