Hard lesson LEARNED!!

I was doing so well yesterday, had a shake for breakfast, I was on the road (my job requires a lot of windshield time) around lunch, so I ate an ounce and a half of beef jerky.  I was getting hungry mid afternoon (by hungry, I mean I could feel my blood sugar dropping) and needed something to eat, I got busy and forgot until around 4 ...oops.... I ran through wendy's and got a small chili for an early dinner.  By the time i got home and finally ate, I ate WAY too fast and too much.  Generally a small chili will last me 2 meals... since I was too hungry, I ended up eating closer to 3/4 of said chilim never slowing down to realize I was "full".  I was so nausated I wanted to throw up, but since I'd rather walk on glass than puke, I didn't!  I ended up having to go to bed at 5:15 just to sleep it off!  I actually ended up sleeping until 4:00 am!  All I can say is lesson learned... slow down when eating and stop when I know I am suppose to or get sick and go to bed!  I'll NOT do that again lol

Yes, the same thing happened to me a few months out on cashew chicken but I actually did vomit. That particular lesson only needs to be learned once.

That is a self care issue.  I am guilty of ignoring myself at the expense of guess what?  My health!

Keep working at it.  It gets better.
