2 1/2 years out and NOW I'm struggling with mental hunger??
I'm afraid I am falling.. I am really struggling with the mental obsession with food & eating while at work. I notice, at home, it is not so bad.. but at work, I sit at a desk all day, I am not challenged and often bored, so I am pretty much eating all day (grazing). I havent gained weight. Yet.
I did have a baby 8 months ago, and since then... I feel like my eating habits from pregnancy (when I had to eat all day every day to get enough nutrition to feed the sprout) has stuck with me. I am not breastfeeding, since I wasn't able to get in enough calories to continue to produce.
Anyone struggle mentally.. I KNOW I am not hungry. I seriously jut ate a 1/2 bagel and an hour later I'm looking around my cube for other food. What do I do?? chewing gum seems to help a little... its all a mental game and I am afraid I might not win..

I did that girl!! I breast fed.. I lost weight and then I gained some back! Which SUCKS.. DONT DO IT lol
Hang in there. I just posted in another post that I brought bananas and sat them in my desk and another bundle in my food snack drawer and I would eat that! Lets just say about a week to two weeks all I ate was bananas!!! retrained my body to stop eating like a graizing cow!!!

I also started this food journal on here! It's much easier than any other ones I have ever tried! And I wont eat anything I dont want to have to be shamed for putting on here!

As weird as it sounds. I keep those blue and white tic tacs at my desk. If I want to eat something I have one of those. I really don't like them and they are pretty strong so they destroy all of the taste for everything else. Either that or yucky cough drops.... *bleh*...after a cough drop I want NOTHING!
