New Frame of mind....

So even before having surgery, I had this mentality that I didn't need to do much for the first 6months to get weight off.  Then it dawned on me, even if that is true by doing my part will only give me a better outcome in a shorter period of time.  I especially realized this when I stopped losing at week 2.  I don't care what the scale says. I do my measurements every 2 weeks and I can see and feel the difference.  I am approaching this journey as if I didn't have WLS and putting my all into my workouts and watching what I eat with protein being the focus.  The PA at my doc's office said I am probably best eating every 2-3 hours because I struggle with getting my protein and water in.  So I put myself on a schedule and for the 1st time, I have gotten in 24oz of water this early on in the day.  I am so thankful for this surgery and my new outlook on life!!!!

Good plan.  Yes you probably would have lost but you would have also lost some valuable time for losing and learning new habit so you can keep it off after you are done losing.  Congratulations.
