FOOD and strictures

Thanks everyone!!! I really took what you all said very seriously. I emailed my surgeon while at work today and I have an endoscopy scheduled for next week Thursday. I described what was going on and he said it does sound like it could be a stricture because I shouldn't have this much problems eating at this point.  So I am back to full liquids until Monday and then can try softs again.  But we will know for sure on Thursday, waht is the issue going on.  Thanks so much for the advise.  It is really annoying to see people who are fewer weeks out then me be able to have a real meal and I still can't have more than 2-3 bites.

Been there done that... lol had a stricture... Dr Zinkin took care of ot 1 2 3 lol Dr. B was there when he ballooned it. I was eating normal next day. no worries Dr. B knows his stuff

How did you know you had a stricture? How was the feeling while having the stricture different from after? I guess I have had that stupid band for so long that I felt it was kind of normal to experience a sort of stuck uncomfortable feeling from eating.  Is it supposed to feel like eating normal except eating smaller portions?

quick version... I went from being to eat everything to not being able to even keep scrambled eggs down...  couldnt keep anything down except yogurts and  liquids...
I put it off for 3 weeks.. lost almost 20lbs in  that time Dr. was not happy... I was weak and jittery, felt like crap... once he opened it I was 100% fine...
