BIG DAY TOMORROW
Well tomorrow is the big day for me and let me just say that I. AM. READY. I was nervous a few days ago and started to second guess my decision but after a long talk with my husband I am at peace with my decision. I dont think that I will be able to sleep at all tonight lol. Anyway, I got my bags packed and all I need to do is take my shower, shave the legs (lol) and relax. I gotta be at the hospital at 6 am (surgery is scheduled for 8) and its an hour drive so Ill be up at 4am.
LOOSERS BENCH HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOOSERS BENCH HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To all of you going in for your surgery tomorrow:
Congratulations and welcome to a wild ride! I'm sure by now you have already thought about cancelling this whole process; I'm glad you haven't and you will be glad too. There is a lot of work ahead of you, but you are strong and determined and you have the support of this amazing support group here and you will survive!
Go into tomorrow's event with an open mind and an open heart. There will be struggles, but they will be worth it. Most likely this is the first time (or the first time in a long time) where you are putting YOU first. You are very special and deserve to be healthy.
Come to this website often. Post your fears, anxieties, and celebrations. The people here are amazing and want to support you in every step of this journey. There is a lot of information here and you just might be surprised at how many people have had the same "silly question', frustrating experience, embarrassing folly, and huge celebrationsl
Please keep us posted and remember to rest. It is very important to the healing process.
Keeping you all in my prayers!
Vicky
