One of the only things that sat well with me in the beginning was applesauce and scrambled eggs. I would scramble the egg, then puree with a little ketchup and sour cream. I also took soups and pureed those up, my NUT suggested mixing a little instant mashed potatos to soup to thicken them a little and that also worked well. Good luck!

Your favorite soup.  Heat it in the microwave after whizzing it in the blender, stir it to cool a bit, then put in a tablespoon or so of unflavored protein powder (available at GNC) to up the protein content,  Enjoy,

Don't put the protein powder in and then heat it.  It will be sooooo gross.

Thanks, and especially about the protein powder. I didn't know that!

As a few above mentioned, scrambled eggs count as pureed.

In addition, my surgeon said that low-fat deli meats are so processed that they count as pureed too.

Thanks--that's interesting about the deli meats!
