I am banded and going through the process of converting to bypass , I have such mixed emotions , plus being terrified.

I can understand your concerns.  When I had my final pre-op class, every single participant  except  myself were  all banded and were revising to RNY.  They were days away from their sugery.  You have an advantage because you already have a certain degree of knowledge.  I saw one of the ladies one week later when I had my one week follow-up, and she was doing great. She had surgery the day before I had mine.   Best wishes to you.

I lived on those pre-op/post-op photos for inspiration.  I would spend hours reading profiles and member blogs.  They really do help.  I still to the same thing.  There are many who are doing things now that I still aspire to do.
