Roux-en-Y or Sleeve

I also had my heart set on the Sleeve and was prepared to fight my insurance for it but after talking with the surgeon, I also was not a candidate because of having Reflux
. Even on the morning of my surgery I tried to talk him into giving me the Sleeve Lol . Good luck with whatever surgery you decide on.

Barbara when I began all this process I went in with an open mind. My best friend just had her surgery (RNY) on 10/1 and she wanted me to get the same. I told her I would let the surgeon decide after consultation which was best and attending the seminars. After hearing the difference we decided that the sleeve would be best for me. So that is what I am scheduled for on 2/13/12... So excited less then a month away. Starting over, given the chance to enjoy life again is all I can ask for and up to me to earn.
