I always make my shakes with milk - if I make them with water they're too thin for my liking. I've tried both skim and 1% - I did more 1% when I was trying to increase my calories. Now that I can eat more food, and am adding a snack in the afternoon, I stick to skim.

I'm allergic to milk and soy, so I use almond milk and it tastes great!

My supermarket carries Genisoy unflavored powder. One serving of the powder is 25 grams protein, and when 8 oz of Skim Plus is added to it, that makes 36 grams. Not 38, but close.

I can't stand it any more, but when I used it pre-op, I added sugar-free vanilla syrup to it for flavor.
