A little help: Bartles & Jaymes Wine Coolers: how much sugar

Can we drink this stuff? I am a huge Texan fan, and as you know, this is the first time they have been in the play-offs and of course I want to drink (not a huge drinker, so I tend to stick to the mild drinks, hence the wine cooler). I was ok on new years eve with wine. But wine coolers I know tend to be sweeter. I don't want to experience dumping. Can we drink this stuff? I can't find any info on sugar content at all!

There's no label on the package?  It should say how many calories, how many grams of sugar, etc.

Most malt liquor "wine coolers" are quite high in sugar. I'd avoid them, personally. Maybe a glass of wine instead if you'd like to have a drink?

If you are concerned about the sugar content and do okay w/ carbonation (I do not) you could just mix some sweeter wine w/ some diet Sprite or other lemon/lime soda.

Hey Karen,  I use myfitnesspal.com for my protein/carb/calorie tracking....here is a link for a listing of wine coolers:

My sister and brother in law are at that playoff game in Houston today....they say the tailgating is outrageous!

I hope you have fun watching the game!

I didn't think I was a dumper and one evening I totally dumped on a couple of glasses of white wine. Be very careful how much you consume or your good time could become horrific in a matter of minutes... Just sayin...

I tolerate most things well and can drink almost anything provided I have something on my stomach of substance. I haven't had a wine cooler (not a fan) but had a glass of Arbor Mist (fruity flavored malty wine - very similar to a wine cooler) and got incredibly sick off it. I was sweating profusely, feeling light headed and then the vomiting started - ONE GLASS. Never, ever again. But each person is different. I'd try it at home first when you can lay down if it does go badly. It's not fun to be sick in public.
