I was where you are at about two weeks ago. I had absolutely no desire to eat but HAD to eat. I get nauseated if I don't eat.  Life would be so much simpler if we didn't have to eat at all.  Imagine an alcoholic in recovery who has to drink everyday but just a little.  That's what we have to do which is why weight loss is so hard.   I have had eggs twice and don't care if I ever eat another egg ever again. I used to like eggs. I don't like fish either.  I was in a quandary about what I was going to eat but then I tried to think about what I used to eat prior to surgery (provided it was relatively healthy and nutritious). This week I  have started eating what I used to eat.  (In teeny portions) I know people are going to point fingers at me for this but....I did lose about 10lbs a month eating what the dietitian told me to eat and I was satisfied.  The only difference is now I have to eat less of it. Tonight I ate a baked pork chop. It was yummy and it stayed down. I was completely satisfied.  In the before days I would have eaten two of them. Tomorrow I am going to make a tiny taco salad.  I figure if I am eating far less than I used to....coupled with work outs I should continue to lose...even if slowly.  Plus I am no longer eating fast food, soda, and junk. With that said if I want to make my protein goal I have to do a shake or protein bar.  I am tired of protein food and miss fruit.  So I try to eat/drink bars or shakes with at least 20-30 so I can have a little room for fruit and salad. Hang in there....this too shall pass!!!!
