had surgery on the 23rd and have a question
I am worried about getting enough protein so i used i scoop of body fortress (52 grams protein) and 1 scoop unflavored ( 21 grams protein) in about 1 1/2 cups milk ( ff) it is taking me all day to drink it ( shot glass at a time but I am thinking that if I get it all in I should be good with my protein. Am I thinking right or is it medicine head lol.

I think one scoop of body fortress is 26 grams of protein, not 52. 52 grams as shown on the front of the jar is for TWO scoops.
But to answer you main question, you are doing good to get all your protein from protein drinks for the first week (or maybe two). Be sure to get all 64 ounces of fluid in too. The milk/water you use in your protein drinks counts toward your fluid intake.

I think 1 scoop of BF has 26g protein and 2 scoops is 52g...at least that's what it says in the nutrient details. If that's the case, you're only getting 47g of protein....might want to check. I think I recall seeing another kind of BF that was more expensive than the one I purchased, so that may be the one you bought...didn't see the protein gram details though on that container.

Why does it take so long to drink 12 ounces?
And are you drinking your 64-72 ounces of fluids? If so, I have GREAT NEWS for you! The milk or water or whatever you mix the powder into DOES COUNT towards your liquid for the day. This means that if you're using 12 ounces of milk, you only need 52-60 ounces of additional fluid.
Extra bonus: The protein in the milk counts towards your daily protein too!
I just realized another bonus: If the shake is too thick for your taste, just add more milk!
