Pouch feels like it's being squeezed & like it's contracting

Over the past week, I've had a strange sensation - like someone is holding their hand around my pouch and squeezing the heck out of it. I sometimes also feel a contracting sensation. It constantly feels that way - so has nothing to do with eating too much, etc. I am 4 months out/Gastric Bypass. Has anyone else felt this?

I'm sorry you are going thru this. I'd definitely call your surgeon or even your pcp. Hopefully they will find the answer.

have you made any changes to your diet? i have had that sensation too. not sure what it is but i'm usually eating off plan when it happens. not sure if you are but if you are, that is probably causing it!

I felt something similar...like my pouch was cramping up. I was put on Rx Prilose****il I could get in for a scope to see if it was an ulcer. That helped in my situation. I take otc prilosec or generic every day.
