This has nothing to do with your post (so sorry for hijacking it...lol) but I see that you used Dr. Kim. I was seriously contemplating using him because of his comercials. This sounds really silly and not a real reason to use a surgeon, but he looks so sweet and caring. I had a friend that used him and said that he really is.

Teresa......trust me....He IS a very caring surgeon and doctor. He genuinely cares about his patients and them being successful for a lifetime. He has monthly support groups in his office......we have a support breakfast ( which BTW is tomorrow AM at Sunny Street Cafe 5000 Western Center Blvd. Haltom City. at 9 AM if you would like to come ). I am also a support group leader here on OH. Dr. Kim has taken out my gallbladder and also did a hernia repair surgery on me at 10 PM at night after doing surgery on patients since 6:30 AM. You will NEVER find a more caring and sweet doctor who genuinely cares about his patients and their success. Good luck in your decisions.

I can't go tomorrow even though it is right on the way to where I am going but I am going to request you as a friend and I would love for you to let me know when it happens again. Is it just Dr. Kim's patients or can other WLS patients come. I chose a Dr. here in Waxahachie so that I would make sure to follow up and not cancel appointments. We have support group meetings, but the more the better.

You are right... the more support groups the better. The breakfast is for anyone. Dr; Kim's Support groups in his office is for HIS patients only. My OH Support group ( next one will be Feb.12 ) is for everyone who wants to attend. You can watch for them. My groups name in OH Groups is LOSE IT 4 LIFE. We meet in Keller. I post the meetings on OH so you may want to watch for them and I look forward to meeting you in the future.
