I am 1 week out and eversince I started my liquid diet  I feel cold most of the time

Before I wore a summer nightgown year round and just covered up with a sheet most of the time

NOW......   I am cold!!!!

There hasn't been that much of a weight difference yet so I am wondering if anyone else has had this?

I am just a little over a month a way-and I like you always wore the summer night gown and now I stay covered up all the time-weid how our body reacts-I have only lost 40 lbs in my first 5 weeks so thats not enough fat for me to freeze--LOL good luck

I've been cold since just after the summer of hell here. My landlord bumped up the boiler temperature because we had a discussion on how cold I get now.

From what I've read, it's not uncommon.  Just layer up--

I am having my surgery on wednesday and ever since I started the liquid diet I have been under my electric blanket. I was told it was sugar withdrawl but will not end and that it is something I have to live with. I am really wondering if I am ready for this. My hands are ice cold and my body shakes inside. I have only lost 7 pounds so far. I can't help but wonder if it has something to do with so much protein.
Hoping for a heat wave. :)

I am almost 11 months post op and I am freezing all the time now that winter and snow have arrived here in Iowa. I have to dress in layers I am in and out all day so I never get warm until I get home in my nice comfy pjs and robe.
Congrats on your surgery and I wish you great success!!!

I am a couple of weeks out now and freezing all the time. Thank God I live in Phoenix!  I was always hot before the surgery too. Now, my fiancee complains  when I turn the AC up.
