No Carbonation at ALL??
My doc was the same way, so before surgery I quit soda completely. Which wasn't really difficult as I was never a big soda person anyway. But these carbonated, Sugar Free waters? I love them! I just started drinking them as they are delish!
I either open it and let it sit for a while, or I pour it over ice (seems to help cut the carbonation). It hurts to drink it right out of the bottle.
I figure, as long as they are sugar and calorie free...I'm good!

oh I totally agree, those people who go back to drinking soda probably drink with their meals and have probably broken other rules. My cousin and her hubby both had the RNY back in 2001 and both of them drink soda regularly AND drink with their meals- and guess what??? They've both gained back most of their weight!! I am not going to be like them!
I have gained back some, due to having a baby and dealing with PPD and the meds I was on. But it's only 30 lbs and I plan to hopefully lose 15 of it in the next 6 months. But not if I get pregnant, we are ttc #4 right now.
I lost 130 in 10 months and have still kept off 100 of it after 3 1/2 yrs, so I think I'm doing really well!
