Star Jones interview

I was impressed by what she had to say. How psychologically she wasn't ready to lose, why she kept it quiet. Half the weight she lost was from surgery, the other half hard work. She works hard every day to keep it off, good diet and exercise. Good for her!!

Yeah, I liked what she said also and even though I havent had my surgery yet I understand why she kept quiet about it.

I agree too. Why should she have to tell everyone. It is hard enough to be overweight and be judged let alone listen to all the haters after the surgery!!!

 My issue was not that she kept quiet.. it is that she lied about it.  If she did not want to tell the truth, she should not have talked about her weight loss on live tv.  You can not have it both ways.  Al Rocker did not talk about it until he had lost the weight and then he told the TV world.  Yes it prolly would have been obious to most but she should not have lied.  Sounds like she is still in denial to me.

And I think it is funny that she told everyone she was 'morbidly obese' and not just plus-sized.  Hmm, I couldn't tell...........

I do give her a lot of credit for bringing attention to the issue of heart disease in women.
