Best thing for constipation.

I am experiencing constipation and would love nothing more than to have a $1 menu double cheeseburger from McDonalds. Best laxitive ever! :)  Even before surgery tho, I stopped eating there for like 2 years. So disgusting.

They stop putting the pink stuff in the burgers, so that might not work anymore. LOL

Mineral oil laxative saved my life after surgery. 2T daily -- it sure beats trying to **** a brick, 'scuse the French.

Lol...I don't mind the language at all...and it's oh so true...bricks!

My doctor put me on Miralax. I was 12 days constipated after the surgery and going nuts (lol). The Miralax MAY take up to 3 days to work, but it doesn't hurt your stomach or intestines, is tasteless and MOST importantly, it works. I take mine in orange juice; I have also taken it in water. Start out taking 1 1/2 scoops so you will go faster. (He said I may be one of those people who need it daily.)

What is Miralax, is this a granular laxative that turns to gel when put in liquid? I live in London and we have a product called Fibregel, it could be the same type of product! Does anyone know? many thanks in advance. Karen x

Mirilax is granular but it just disolves in whatever you put it in. It doesn't turn into a gel and you won't even know you added it to your drink. It's very lightweight.

 It's over the counter Polyethylene glycol - it's a powder that dissolves clear in liquid - no flavor, no drama :)

You might look for something called Microgol .. it's the same thing.
