NSV Worked Out for an Hour X Post

This is the longest I've ever worked out, probably ever.  In fact, they had to toss me out because students can only use the gym from 2 to 3 on Tuesdays and I lost track of the time.  Otherwise I might have gone even longer.
I'm pretty impressed with myself, especially considering I'm less then a month out from major surgery and 2 years ago I could barely crawl up my stairs.  I'm looking forward to the warmer weather so I can ride my bike more.  I am increasing the hills on the exercise bike so I can get used to riding hills outside.  I am also using the treadmill, the elliptical and the rowing machine.  Soon I am going to start on the weights.
I have never liked to exercise but I do like how I feel after wards so sometimes I have to force myself and sometimes I fail to force myself.  I found that listening to music really helps it go faster.
I'm not doing this to lose weight or even to tone up.  I have too much loose skin for it to make a difference to my appearance.  I am strictly motivated in order to improve my physical and mental health.  For me it's a part of my treatment.

Good for you! I know it is hard for me to get myself motivated to workout, but after I get going I feel great!

Congrats! It's an awesome feeling, huh?

I listen to audio books while I'm on the treadmill. I can't focus on it enough while doing the other things. I listen to music then.

Thanks!  I was actually thinking about that as I was using my back muscles on the rowing machine, that I hope this won't hurt tomorrow.  I have done it before and then the next day I was sore but I couldn't figure out why.  I'd forgotten that I had used the rowing machine.
How are you feeling?

Just make sure you drink a lot of water.
For me, I'm a little bored, little annoyed ,and still trying to figure it all out. I have many medicines to take every 12 hours. Then I have to work in all the regular vitamins and calcium but they can't be taken 2hrs before and 2 hours after every dose. So that's 8 hours a day I can't take them. I'm having a hard time remembering the all.
I also think I should have more endurance at this point. I go back to work in April. I'm not ready yet but I'm workng on it.
I'm staying off the sugar but I'm eating a lot of peanut butter. The Mrs. is getting scared. She told me..."You have eaten more peanut butter in the last month than the last 27 years we've been together!"
At least we got rid of the nuttella...that stuff was crack.

Keep moving girl..we both gots to!
