  Good Thursday Morning Everyone,

Thank you everyone who said prayers for me yesterday on my 11 hour round trip to pick my son up from Teen Challenge.   I will appreciate it if everyone would pray for me again tomorrow as I return him and do the 11 hour trip again.   Fun Fun....LOL      Today I am SO grateful for ALL of the positive changes in my son's life.    Life is great for him now and I feel that God is going to bless him with a very bright future.     For you who are wondering about me after my fall on tuesday night.   I sat on a bedpillow and drove for 11 hours yesterday.   I  did very frequent stops and got out and walked around so I wouldn't be so sore.    I am not 100% yet but SO much better than yesterday.    Thank you for your prayers.     Life is good and so is God !!!  So I am grateful for life and my family today.   PLEASE share with us if you will what you are grateful for today.   Have a BLESSED day !!!

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Hi am grateful for an unbelievable, uncomparable, remarkable, loveing, forgiving, incredable savior and God. Words can never express the magnificiece of our Creator. The absolute humility of such a God for our sake. That He should have given up Heaven for even a fraction of a moment so that He could come and suffer for us our terrible sin. That the plan of Our Father was so perfect to reconcile His lost children to Himself. Unconditional love, true unconditional love for us. A love that we could never understand in our limited minds. We love our family and friends but none of that compares to how our God loves us. I am grateful for this love, this forgiveness, for more Blessings than I can number. For sometimes the darkest things in our life can be a Blessing unaware. Only our God knows the true plan and the way and His sight is perfect in everything His understanding is pure. I am grateful for the Blessings, The ones that I know and the ones I don't understand. Ours is truely an Awesome God who loves us and holds us.
Vivan I know serval people who have gone through teen challenge and it truely changed their life forever. I havent followed your story I dont know how long he has been in or if he is coming home for good or just awhile. It is a very structured life inside. Give him his time to adjust to being home. Pray with him, study the word with him if he wants and let him express his personal relationship with God. Some of the things he studied maybe a little different from some of the things you learned in Church or from your own studies, Be open. I dont know what denomenation you are and dont need to. There is only one way to the Father and that is through Jesus. All the other stuff is perference. There is only one God, Let him define his relationship on his terms so it is real for him. I know your his mother and you want to guide him to what you feel is right and what you believe and are comfortable with. Good intensions sometimes get in the way. Your relationship with your Savior is yours. Thats what the whole thing is about. He wants a personal relationship not a religion. Let your son find his. If he has a real relationship with God it will carry him through any and everything. Love him uncondiontionally and listen to him let him grow and become a man of God that walks with his God everyday in everyway. Try not to preach at him or smother him. The Bible says that it is the love of God that draws a man to Him. Sometimes we try to do the work of the Holy Spirit our sevles through good intentions. Let your son continued to be guided by the Holy Spirit as he finds his way back to this world.
I dont know where all this came from. I hope I didnt offend you. That was not my intention at all. Everything I said came from the heart. I pray only Blessings on you and your family, and also that God be with you through this journey.  Hugs and Blessings back to you!    Melinda

Melinda...no offense taken.   Trust me we know ALL about Teen Challenge.   We go to a church and have for over 30 yrs. where Teen Challenge woman attend.    We know ladies that have gone through the program and done awesome.     My son has been in Teen Challenge for 8 months.   He will graduate the program August 1st.    God has totally changed his life and I am SO thrilled !!!  He is adopted ( from birth ) and his birth parents were both heron addicts.    My son met her last July and that is what made him want to go to Teen Challenge.   He is on a 3 day pass.....but it is 5 hours away from my house to the center where he is so he is really only home about 1 1/2 days.    It is OK though....good to see all the positive changes that he has made to his life and see how God is changing him.    He's going to be awesome !!!  He is 26 yrs old by the way.   Thank you for all your kind words.   Have a blessed day.

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better! Speedy recovery to you.

I'm grateful today to have hashed things out with that friend from yesterday. It came to blows, but eventually, I think it was good for us. And I'm grateful to have a friend so strong we can lay into each other and come out stronger on the other side.

I'm grateful, as always, that my husband is safe and my children are healthy.
