Better and Better!

My surgeon's office called this morning and told me they were moving my surgery date up to April 2nd. Then they told me I did NOT have to continue the two week preop liquid diet because I had already exceeded the weight loss requirement. Family still isn't on board, and at this point I don't think they ever will be, but I have so many friends that are firmly on my side in this that my attitude remains hopeful and exuberant. Things just keep getting better and better!

Congrats, how exciting.   Keep us updated on your progress.  Don't forget to sip sip sip your water.  Also walk as soon as you can.  It will help with your recovery.

When I first started going through the process, my family was not on board either. Now, three months later, down 80+ lbs, they see it was the right choice for me and I have their full support. Good luck on your up coming surgery!
