When people tell me they are proud of me...

I am on the exact same page with Charlie.  I just say Thanks, but that is exactly why I have not broadcast my surgery.  I am still trying to figure out how to deal with my family reunion.  I know good and well that they would all be so supportive, but I really don't even want to be recognized except to hear that I look good.  

It's funny that I feel this way since I have always been the attention seeker.  Now I just want to blend in.
