24 hours post op

Well, I did it. I'm 24 hours post op... Pretty sore, but have eaten a glacier of ice chips, and have tolerated a liquid diet so far. For supper, I am on a full liquid. I am having potato soup and cottage cheese. :)

Im feeling pretty good about this lifestyle change....

And doc said I can go home today if I want to.  How exciting!

My surgery is three weeks from today and I'm looking forward to the beginning of a new life.  

Congratulations and good luck!  I was full clear liquid for 10 days post op.  Chicken broth only.  And its all I really wanted.

Congratulations and how wonderful to be able to go home so soon.  I was in for four days!  You must be doing amazing.  This is a wonderfully supportive site, isn't it!  Good luck in the coming weeks, I hope it is as smooth for you as it was for me.
