I finished the last leg of requirements last Wednesday with the visit with the surgeon. He stated he would do the letter of medical necessity, I already had one from my PCP and orthopod, and then my stuff would be submitted to insurance. Today I couldn't stand it anymore so I called the office. It will be submitted today or tomorrow and she said insurance takes about 2 weeks.

ARRRGGGHHHHH..........................I want a date so bad. I want to start planning. Am I being too impatient?

No you are not! You are ready to make this change and want it to happen! I was amazed at how fast everything went once insurance was submitted. It only took a couple of days to get approved and before I knew it the surgery was over!
