Why did you choose ryn?
Same basic reasons as Charlie. Also with the sleeve they actually remove part of your stomach. I had an issue with something being permanently removed. Reversal of RNY is rare, but can be done. I'm kind of known for my committment issues though :-)

I read your post, but did not read your 10 relpies, so this might have already been said....
A sleeve does not cure type 2 diabetes. At least that is what my doctor and many others have said. The RNY with the malaborbsion is the only way to get rid of it. I know this to be a fact, since I had it pre op and no longer have it post op.
Sleeve does not work like the RNY. I go to my support group and many of the people there that complain about NOT losing enough weight or regain are always the sleeve people.
Not to make the RNY sound perfect, it isn't. There are so many problems that come with this surgery, but I just don't want you to get a surgery thinking it is going to cure something that it doesn't
