I'm like 2 months out and I figure thoes are pretty decent nutrition facts and its nice and soft. What do you guys think?

I will bet it will taste nothing like oatmeal! I would try the sample first if they have one.

I like Trader Joe's frozen steel cut oatmeal and I just add cottage cheese or FAGE yogurt , of course that was when I was banded , I will have to see in a few weeks how it works

Well I found one with about the same nutrition as the other but its made by a different company and its cinnamon apple and it got really good reviews. If none of you ha e been to the bariatricadvantage site you should check it out it answered my previous post about a sweet tooth they have high protein low everything else cookies puddings shakes bars chips pretzles soups full meals its nice I ordered 2 boxes of the oatmeal (5 servings per box) a box of soup (5 servings) a box of instant cheese cake (pudding texture 5 servings) and a few bags of these funnion flaybor chips. All of the stuff I ordered is 130 calories or less 4 sugar or less 10 carbs or less 5 fat or less and 12-15 protein per serving and total for all was $50.03 ( all ordered over 49.95 are free shipping) so I thought it was good prices for good nutrition fact foods for a bariatric patient.

I avoid oatmeal whenever possible. It raises my blood sugar so high that I then crash after wards and I mean crash, crash hard. I will almost go comatose. my boys call it carb coma. I do occasionally eat a small portion with butter, milk and either torani or davinci syrup, the brown sugar cinnamon one. Yummy. I then also make sure i'm in a place where it is acceptable for me to lay down and nap if I choose/need to. Oatmeal makes me crash harder than any candybar, ever!

I eat steel cut oatmeal and it fills me for a long time. Never even I would like to invite you to my house this Tuesday night at 7pm   .  I hope you will come as I am so excited to be a new representative for Arbonne.  Tuesday night is my launch workshop and I hope you can come and see why I'm crazy enough to ale on a new venture. I would love and appreciate your support in simply coming over and learn about how our skin is changing and as we age the importance of the care we give to our skin.  As you knowthought it was bad for us. I mix proton powder into it too. Should I not be eatting it?

I eat oatmeal A LOT, the fiber in it keeps me regular. I don't bother buying the instant, pre-packaged crap anymore because it's so overly processed.

Instead I buy both steel cut oats (for when I have some time to kill) and the Quaker Old Fashioned or Quick Oats and then make my own protein oatmeal.

I make the oatmeal like normal (with soy milk, cause I like it) and once it's hot, I slowly mix in spoonfulls of vanilla protein powder. I don't get a whole scoop in, maybe about half, then I add either Splenda or some SF Torani and a handful of Craisins.

It's got protein, fiber, and I know how much and what kind of "sugar" is in it.

I love oatmeal but have never been able to eat it.  I tried the bariatric oatmeal after surgery and it tasted good but it did as usual and gave me the runs.
