OMG sweet tooth
My support group says this about sweet tooth.....I'm not sure if it totally works, but it makes sense.
Stop intake of all sugar substitutes. I know! Right! How do you ever do that. Drink just plain tea and water and don't consume anything with asperteme (spelling)
Second, eat more fruit for the sweetness.
I agree with the fruit, but I have a hard time with the sugar substitutes since my cross addiction has become coffee and I just need it for my coffee.

Do sugar alcohols bother you ? I find sometimes it does bother my pouch. I found a sweet tooth fix in either protein bars , and I also found a cookie snack from Atkins Day break Oatmeal cinnamon squares , they are like a cookie . They arent the best in carbs though i only have one or even half of one in a sweet tooth pinch and try hard to not make a habit of eating them . They have 5g protein , 1 g sugar,10g dietary fiber , 140 calories . There is also a protein bar wafer by power crunch my fav is the chocolate PB . It just depends on if I am bothered by the sugar alcohols in some bars , some days it does and others it doesnt .
I have half of a skinny cow heavenly crisp or I've had half of a skinny cow ice cream sandwich when the sweet tooth comes around..and as long as I have my protein in and I'm under my calorie requirement(650 calories..so normally i dont have enough left for half of the ice cream sandwich) then I feel no guilt about it.
