way off topic...bare floor vacs?? any suggestions?
ik, i have like 15 in white tiles throught out my house, but i also have sections of where the tiles had to be removed so it is down to the terazzo flooring....i had a couple of area rugs, but down here in florida, there is just way to much sand that gets under the area rugs...so i got rid of them they were old anyhow....
i am kinda tired of sweeping the floors....so does anyone have the rumba? not sure it would work with my uneven sections, and the grooves between the tiles...
any other suggetions for a bare floor vac, that you all like? i would like a bagless if possible...i have a heavy duty kirby right now, but no rugs or carpet...will pass to youngest daughter...
thanks

I have the swiffer vac and love, love, love it! You can just leave the pad off if you want to only use it as a vac, but having the option of both in one machine is great! My 3 year old loves "accidently" dropping her snacks all over the floor so she can use the "Swifter" to clean them up :-P
We have wood/tile floors throughout our home, with just a couple area rugs. I bought a Miele cannister vacuum last year and absolutely love it. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver, and works fantastically. It was pricey, and does use bags (which are also pricey), but the bags last quite a while before needing to be changed. Our model came with a powered beaterbar head that works on both rug and hard floors, but I purchased a bare floor attachment that is amazing in how clean its gets our floors (and we have two constantly shedding pugs and a two year old)
