I've actually only told a small handful of people i'm having the surgery for this exact reason.  I'm excited and happy and looking toward my future and I don't want anyone to bring me down.  Don't let this so called "Friend" bring you down.  If your goal is to be a size 12 I know you can do it!! We are a lot stronger then the average. This isn't for the weak.

When I started looking into this i thought.....hmm do I ever think I can be a size 12?? Now I'm like hmmm maybe I will be a size 8. hahaha It all depends on your body, how hard you work after and before surgery and what makes you happy.  If a 12 does it then go for it...if you think hmm maybe I want to be an size 8 too...well then DO IT! :) I think I can say this from everyone here....We have your back and know you can do it!

HUGS!

In my humble opinion, the problem here is not about jealousy, but rather choice of friends...

These people are not your friends.  Friends hold you up.  They support you.  They celebrate your successes, and they are kind and giving.

As you venture into you new life, please shed these type of "friends" because they are simply not what's in your best interest.

The one who is not talking to you has done you a huge favor, now go can the other one on your own.

I make it a point NOT to talk about my weight loss or surgery. I usually save that for here or my support groups. People do not want to hear about it. And yeah, people are jealous...
