GI distress and maybe TMI
Did anyone else have Gi disturbance after their UGI? Around 3 hours after I had ALOT of gas, and then white diarrhea. Then after a normal lunch, bloating gas pains, misery and another round of white diarrhea. Tummy still does not feel normal and today and tomorrow are my last 2 days to eat before my liquid diet!
I didn't have that after I had an upper GI, but it sounds like it's a reaction to the barium stuff you had to swallow. When is your surgery? I assume you could take something over the counter for diarrhea, but if your surgery is in just a couple days you might want to call your surgeon before taking anything. Or you could ask your pharmacist for advice.
