Severe sharp pains under my left rib.

I don't want to alarm you but I experienced a very similar pain last Monday and ended up in the hospital for 5 days. An ulcer had developed where my pouch and intestines meet. Gastric juices leaked into my abdominal cavity and became infected. The end result was a new gastric bypass. Please let us know what you find out.
