Buy vitamin C and take it with your iron.  You need 200 mg C for ever 30 mg iron.

And yeah, I'd take B1 if yours was low.

The recommendation at the clinic that I am with recommended 65 mg 3x a day.  I thought it was way to much.  But according to my labs at 6 months, it was not.  You may want to see if your clinic recommends a dosage.  (The plan is to cut down iron as time goes on if labs indicate that you can,)  I still take 65 mg 3 times a day.

It's 25 mg per pill.  They are small.  About the size of the fingernail on my pinkie finger.  Actually a bit smaller than that.  I swallow three of them in one swallow.

Is your iron level currently good?  There is also iron in the multi you are going to take the first six weeks, so 25 mg would probably be enough.
