Dressy event tonight and was so excited to dress for it

I loved my evening. It was the first time in 18 yrs that I had a dressy event ( a fashion show ) and was excited to attend. I didn't have that fear that I would have nothing to wear. I didn't have that pit in my stomach that I was going to be the chic in the tent surrounded by all the pretty fashionable sleeveless dresses. No tonight I wore a beautiful fun and fashionable dress. It was a size 12! Omg a 12 and I felt amazing! Thanks ryn for giving me my confidence and body back!

I hope you got a picture. My avatar is a picture of me at my son's wedding. I had a hard time choosing what dress to wear. I tried on several and they all fit and I felt good in all of them. I finally narrowed it down to 2 and put it to a vote. Everyone said I should wear one dress and I wound up wearing the other, lol. I felt great all evening and it didn't hurt that my ex husband was there and I didn't have to feel like he was happy to get rid of me because I was so fat.
