RNY/Diabetes

 I am a type 2 diabetic and don't have a clue how RNY affects type 1s. It sounds like it has given you better control and that is a blessing. 

RNY is the best thing gift I've ever given myself.  Thanks for taking the time to respond :-)

I hope thinks changes for you!  If you can find a functional nutritionist, consult with thatr person, they maybe able to help with better control through diet changes.  I am working on becoming gluten free..........etc. so that I will not have to go back to insulin.  Insulin just made me gain weight in the past 7 years from 165 to 242.  Type 1 is a bite.  Do you think that you might also be insulin sensitive as well?
