Anyone get hiccups right after eating. Here lately it seems its happening everytime I eat, I will get the hiccups right after. Right now its very painful, as I have pulled muscles in my chest and back. Guess it didnt really bother me too much before then, but now I just wanna die everytime it happens. Lol

Just read some older posts about hiccups. I don't think I was eating too fast, but I could be wrong. Possibly its my full signal. Since surgery last week I havent been able to eat much, like an ounce. I just made a crock pot full of pintos & measured out 2 oz & ate it with some cheese. Maybe I just ate too much. I dunno, but its so painful.

I'm so glad to have "happeed" upon your reply. My RNY was 11/23/11 and I've had complication after complication. BUT... My full signal used to be the hiccps. Most recently, I had to have my gall bladder removed and a dialation and since it's seemed as if sneezing is the signal... I JUST said to my friend yesterday... "notice I just sneezed after eating, I know this sounds crazy but it's happened enough since gall bladder surgery that I think it is my "full signal". I guess I don't have to think any more, glad to hear someone else out there has the same reaction to fullness.

Wow, kinda weird it changed from hiccups to sneezing after your GB removal. Our bodies are so strange. Now I just have to listen to my full signal. Lol Hiccup= time to stop eating.

Yup hiccups tell me stop...its usually 1 loud hiccup and people at work think I'm over here drinking...lol..my dietician just told me that's my pouch telling me to stop. And, she said some people sneeze...Funny things our bodies to to tell us to stop...we just gotta listen.
