Thanks! I had a partial obstruction from a past surgery when they did my rny. They repaired it before they started the rny.

Did you have symptoms with the partial block?  You had the best outcome having it repaired when you had your rny.

Yes. I would go days without going to the bathroom and you could feel that there was no activity beyond the blockage when that happened. It had gotten much better before surgery until I had a stomach bug 3 weeks before my rny. That seemed to make it worse again. When I had surgery the drink stuff didn't clear anything out before the surgery and an enema only helped a little. Praise the Lord they were able to repair it without a tear since my bowel was full of material. I think the adhesions are back though. Going to the bathroom is still not normal. Oh well, at least I'm skinny! :)

Do you drink Miralax every day or other things to stay regular.  I do not let myself miss one day, at most, or I address it aggressively

I take 2 stool softeners in the am and 2 more at night with magnesium oxide 400-500mg. This helps most of the time, if I need it, I will take some miralax once in a while.
