Thats the exact reason I had the Mirena put in. I didnt want to have to worry about my period and cramps on top of all the conflicting emotions and everything post-op. If it is bothering you call your OB/GYN and explain to them you had the surgery and whats going on. They should know if not call your surgeon.

I didn't have anything weird for a couple of months. But then I started a little over 6 weeks ago. I went a few days, stopped. Started again a few days later for 1 day. I did that for awhile a day or 2 off then a day or 2 on. Then I started spotting everyday and have for about a month now. Some days are a little heavier but mostly just enough to be annoying. I am seeing my PCP today and it will be my first appt. since surgery 3 months ago. I am going to talk to him about a lot of things going on.

Omgosh I am worried about this I have to stop taking my Birth Control in a few days prior to surgery and when I dont take it I am constantly bleeding. I heard Mirena works for some other women in here. But I also heard you carry alot of hormones in fat and when your loosing weight so fast it causes things to kind of go haywire.
