I'm still alive! Update...
Hi everyone!
First off let me say congratulations to all the newbies on this board who have started the process, gotten their surgery dates, and have joined the loser's bench lately!
I haven't been very active on this board myself because I'm in a much different place than I was three months ago. I found out just about two months ago that DH and I are expecting baby #2, and while we are very excited, my focus can no longer be on weight loss, rather getting as many calories and good nutrition that I possibly can for me and my little peanut. It's kind of a scary place to be: I'm having to eat carbs, grains, fat...all of the things that I had spent the last year attempting to cut down or out of my life! But it's all for the health of the baby, and I'm okay with it. I'm 12 weeks pregnant today. Already at the end of the first trimester! And so far all my attempts to eat more and the adding of carbs and grains and all of that has led to a 20 pound loss in the last 8 weeks. I'm not complaining about the weight loss by any means, haha but it is yet another thing to worry about as I enter into the last two trimesters of pregnancy and baby's period of most growth.
So far I'm down 143 pounds from my HW and 99 pounds since the day of surgery. I'm still in a size 18/20, but pretty much all of my clothes (my pants, anyway) don't fit. Either they're too snug at the waist and fit everywhere else, or they fit comfortably at the waist and are ridiculously large everywhere else. Oh the joys of pregnancy! LOL
Just wanted to let you all know I'm still here and still doing okay. Hope your journies are all going smoothly and continue to do so. Happy losing! :)

I think of you often. (I had surgery a week before you.) I am so glad that you posted. I have the same problem with my pants and I am not pregnant. Take good care of yourself and keep us updated.
I am sure that if you are eating right you and the baby will be just fine. It is not uncommon for heavy women to lose weight while pregnant especially if they improve their eating habits. I am a little envious, I would love to have another baby, but alas, I aged out of that program!
