I'm sorry if this is a redundant question but I have to ask, Tuesday will be my 3rd week out and I have only  lost 7 pounds as of this morning.  I'm grateful for the loss because I was so out of control but I had hoped for a larger number by now. I can see my stomach getting smaller but I am still wondering why the scale hasn't moved much.  Did this happen to others?  I'm following the plan, I do struggle to get all my protein in but I do try.  I'm not doing carbs and trying to get all the liquid in.  Any suggestions?   Or should I just wait it out.  The week before sugery I was 382 so I have a good ways to go.  Just wondering.  Thanks everyone!

People lose at different rates, especially early out.  Some lose 10 pounds the first month, some lose 30, and it's all normal.  And it doesn't indicate whether or not one will end up reaching their goal weight or not.

One issue is that most people gain weight while in the hospital having surgery from the IV fluids and they have swelling from the incisions and stuff.  Some people lose tha****er weight faster than others.

Don't get panicky.  You are going to lose weight.  It's impossible not to lose a bunch of weight after this surgery.  If the numbers on the scale are stressing you out, stay off the scale for a while.  Just stick to your plan and you will lose weight.
