Does anyone have good soup recommendations? I'm trying to get some soup ideas together for after surgery, and wondered what other people made/used other than broth or tomato soup? I love tomato soup, but will need some other options. Thanks in advance!

I did all homemade soups..and veggie soups was one of my favs. I also did chicken soups, but avoided the noodles..tasted yum. I did the broths at first..but when allowed I enjoyed the rest of the soups..I froze the soup and enjoyed it 2 months later.. something to try :)

I lived on the broth from Progresso's French onion soup both pre and post op.  To me it was the only thing that had flavor.  I just strained off the onions when I was on clear liqueds and pureed the onions with the broth when I was on full liqueds.  I also liked the broth from won ton soup when I was on clear liqueds.  I would just give the wontons to my husband to eat.

Good luck with your surgery.
