I would think people who cant afford large clothing or just clothing itself would love to find their size in say Good Will or Salvation Army. I know I am starting to shirnk myself but can't afford to go out and just buy smaller sizes every so often. I started out at size 32(which was sooo tight!)  and now down to a 26-28 and my thing is I dont think that I would find cute clothes at Good will or slavation army. So I just wear my clothes slightly baggy... and I just dont go to those stores cuz i just hate knowing there isnt anything there that would fit me, but if more people who have clothes that dont fit them take it to those places people like me could feel better?

I find lots of big clothes as Goodwill!  You might give it a try.  I was up to a 4x and found several items each time I visited.

I gave all of my bigger clothes away lots of my clothes still had tags on them.  My friends that got my clothes were excited to get them.  Most of them were Ralph Lauren with tags clothes that I bought thinking I would fit into them later..never fit into them to big after my inital weight loss.

I took some to my support group, gave some to Value Village, and gave some to other folks on this board.

This is a great organization that you could donate your clothes to. They help women who are looking for jobs. I donated all my nicer clothes here and then the rest of them to Goodwill or the Big Brother and Big Sister Organization will come to your house to pick up.
I had thought about selling them online on ebay or craigslist....but it ended up being more work than I had wanted to spend taking pictures, etc.

I love this organization (dress for success) when I worked in Corporate America, we did a once a year clothes drive and collected TONS.  We even asked for shoes, pocketbooks, accessories because they need it!  I always felt so good doing it!  Definitely will send them my stuff if I ever get back into it to wear for a little while.   lol   I lost it and gained it all back.   ARGH so this time I'm keeping it off!

Make some unfortunate people happy and DONATE to Salvation Army, Goodwill, Deseret.  If we are fortunate to have nice clothes, I pay it forward and always have to people that need it.  Please people, go through your coat closet any closet and donate. Do not give crappy stuff, throw that stuff out and give clothing to people that can at least make them feel good about themselves.  You never know, you may be one of those people someday.    Jane in California
