Call the local Social Security office and see if they have a clothing store (center)....There are TONS of people that don't have decent clothes that could benefit. You could have a lawn sale and even selling them "cheap" would give you money for your vitamins or protein drinks. Give them to people you know would like them; I like the idea of taking them to a meeting & writing FREE on a box. Salvation Army, things like that are nice, too.

The other ideas presented are good. But I was thinking about something else. I've found a couple of plus size bloggers who have a shop on their sites - there's usually a banner of it on their right or left column. Maybe you could send them a message, or there's this one that specifically says it will help you sell large clothing . If I were you though, I would keep the ones I love the most and go to a tailor to have them fixed for my new size. Good luck and good health!

I haven't read through all the responses, so I apologize i I'm being redundant. My synagogue always takes clothes, particularly high quality professional wear, and donates it to womens' shelters. One problem underpriviliged women face is not having the wardrobe to wear to job interviews or, if they get the job, to work. So there are lots of lending closets who let women borrow or have professional clothing to help them get ahead in the job market.

You can always check with local churches, synagogues, or any shelters you might know of and see if they have a program like that.
