Decaf Click Review
I will start by saying that caffeine has never been an issue for me. In my pre-op like I was a Diet Coke addict, and could drink a can right before bed and go right to sleep. I had no caffeine until more than a year after my surgery when I started drinking Click.
Because of my Reactive Hypoglycemia, the nutritionist and Dr wanted me to stop drinking Click! Waaaaa......but I like it
. THEN I discovered that they just released decaf Click, so I ordered a can from Click. (they had a free shipping and $5.00 off special).
So, my review.....the taste is somewhat lighter. The scoop is smaller than the scoop in my regular can, so maybe that is why. It also seems to mix up better, less lumps to strain out. I laughed when I read on the can "Each serving contains a double shot of decaffeinated espresso" Well that ought to get my engines going!! LOL!!
Well at least I can still enjoy my tasty hot morning protein drink

Somehow the question this was a reply to has disappeared....that was why no caffeine for hypoglycemia:
I had the same question....I didn't think of it until after I got home from the 4 hour session at the appointment though because I was so exhausted. I did an Internet search and this article is one that answered many of those questions for me. LINK
Basically it says that many people with diabetes, insulin resistance syndrome and hypoglycemia will have more success in regulating blood glucose levels without caffeine in their diet.

Well, then, I'm screwed. Keep taking metformin and stay off bad carbs forever, or give up caffeine? Have a life or sleep all day?
Actually, I am largely decaffeinated, but I gotta have those few oily, potent, mean little black espresso beans in my daily grind.
