Kelly-B12 Question

I just got my results back for my B12 and it was 609.  Not terrible but not as high as I'd like.  Last January it was 1147.  Anyway, I give myself an injection every month and I want to increase that.  Should I increase it to every other week or every 3 weeks?  Of course I can't ask my doctor.  She thinks it's great because it's within the range.

I'd say either one would be OK.  I'd  probably try it every three weeks and then see what that does.

Thanks!  The problem is getting any of my doctors to order labs is like pulling teeth so it may be a while before I find out how I do.  I used to take a sublingual 1,000 mg everyday along with the monthly shot and that kept me over 1500.  I may do that instead.

Which doc prescribes the B12 injections?  Is it hard to get her to order labs to check your B12 when she's prescribing the shots?

My PCP orders the shots and since she thinks 609 is perfectly fine she isn't likely to order any labs before 6 months at the earliest.

I think waiting six months to check it again would be fine.
