I agree. I think just asking, "What about me exactly do you think has changed?" might answer the question about wether you have really changed. Most likely there is nothing different, except the fact that your a happier you. But saying it out loud might make the other person realize that nothing has changed, that it's them being difficult, not you.
I haven't changed. I asked my best friend, who has been there through this whole ordeal, and my husband, and they both agree I haven't changed. I'm able to do more, and they say I'm like a squirrel now cause I'm always on the move, but personality wise, I'm still one and the same!

I don't really have any advice sadly other then like the other's said to ask what they think has changed about you and specific examples.

My family is super supportive of me but my mom has had the "talk" with me a few times about making sure I don't turn into a "skinny *****" as she said.  Hahaha I'm like "Mom- I'll be the same person I am now - just smaller."

Good luck with your family I hope they see the "light"

My husband tells me I look in the mirror more at myself.  I must be doing it subconsiously because i don't intend to.  It all comes down to feeling better about myself and how and feel and look.  It's been along time since a skinnier face and body has looked back at me in the mirror.  So maybe I do look more.  I don't think it is a bad thing.  Hey, I feel god about myself and if people can't get past that, move on.  I don't think my personality has changed much, at least nobody has said anything..
