Are the old-timers (vets) on OH Condescending???

Awwww you madde me feel so good. I truly appreciate your support to me too. I need it more than I can possibly elucidate!!! 

 Personally, I look forward to seeing the responses.from Kelly, lady Lithia, ****rogirl, Cleopatra Nik and some others. I know the responses are going to be on point and be informative. Most of all I know your responses come from both personal experience and your own research. I don't think your responses are condescending in any way. having been on more than a few boards and online communities I'm personally well aware of how people come and go. The fact that y'all are still here says a lot about each of you. Your helpfulness is appreciated, as well as the time you invest in sharing your knowledge and experience with those of us that are less experienced. Thank you all!

Ultimately the MOST important thing that I think everyone needs to keep in mind is that there isn't anyone here who comes here to get their jollies out of being mean to them. SOME people who frequent OH (but not this board) do get some jollies out of being hurtful, but I haven't seen anyone like that who is a frequent poster on this forum. We've got a good group going here, and that's saying a lot!!!

I'm almost 10 years out and I'll share with you what I have experienced personally but I'm far from perfect.

I try and post on threads where I can be helpful or answer questions but I'm not here for a fight.  If you don't take my advice that is fine.  It doesn't directly affect me.

There are so many different personalities here and on many message boards.  If you take every single post personally, you're going to end up being very upset a lot of times.
